The City and its surroundings.
The most interesting site is the " Castle Bentomiz ", built by the arabs over an iberian ancient settlement, which was later occupied by the Romans and the Carthaginians, who built some baths there. The church " Iglesia de Santa Catalina " (16th Century), the minaret of " Diamolos " and an arabic fountain, both built in the 12th century are both interesting.
Festivities and Traditions.
During the festivals of San Sebastian and Santa Catalina the tourist has the opportunity to taste the " migas " (fried breadcrumbs) with olives and herrings as well as goat with almond sauce and the different wines of the area.
